Gravy

Background

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hot beef stock
  • 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Steps

  1. Dissolve the beef stock in 1 cup of water in a pot

  2. Separately dissolve the flour in a few spoons of hot beed stock and add the Worcestershire sauce and butter.

  3. Pour this mixture in the stock and cook with low heat till it boils stirring continuously.

  4. Boil till the gravy changes color (a caramel brown).
